Directors Beware

All directors should know that they have to provide an address to Companies House and the importance of keeping that address updated has been stressed in a recent case that has confirmed that the address registered at Companies House can be used to serve a director with documents such as statutory demands and court documents whether they have moved home or even gone abroad.

So, make sure you keep your address at Companies House up to date and if the address is an address of your accountant for example then make sure that they are fully aware that their address is being used and of the importance to forward anything to you as a matter of importance.
